Day Four (4): The Press Release

Hello, tinterweb! This is Illisia [Adams] with an update...

I have just hit the fifty viewership figure for my video, which I am very happy about but I would really appreciate it if as many of you as possible would "share, share, share!" it with your friends and family, and of course through social media, to really bring the message to as wide an audience as possible and encourage that year-round Christmas spirit!

For Bloggers and journalists, I have written an official Press Release to help publicise the initiative, which you can download directly from my OneDrive. The format is ".doc", created in Microsoft Word using Office 365, which is the most up-to-date software.

Alternatively, you can also download a copy in plain text format (".txt"), and view it in the Blog, below.

Thank you again for your continued support! Remember to Subscribe for more! :-)

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE, DECEMBER 29TH 2016

Margate-based Blogger Illisia Adams is spending an entire year “treating every day like Christmas Day”. She insists that Christmas is her favourite time of the year because of how caring, giving and loving (etc) people can be toward each other – even strangers – but is puzzled about how this is not something that is done every day of the year; hence her “Illism” of “Treat every day like Christmas Day”.
"Illi-ism #5: Every Day Is Christmas Day.
Christmas is about love, giving, family, friendship, and all those wonderful things. Why only have one day of the year like that? Treat every day like it is Christmas Day!"
As part of the “Initiative”, she is planning to donate £1 to a different charity for every day of the year, which she notes in her YouTube video is a testing segment of her income given how she is disabled and lives off Benefits provides by the government.

Other highlights of the initiative are spending time with friends and family, giving spontaneous gifts, doing good deeds for strangers, and – in the spirit of spreading the word – wearing a Christmas hat outside throughout the year.

She wants to get as many people involved as possible! With your help, she can. No, this does not mean that you must wear a Christmas hat in March (although we would not complain if you did). What this does mean, however, is that she wants people to make suggests for charities that she can donate to, and invite her to get involved in fundraisers and volunteering opportunities.
Illisia has described her efforts as “making the world a better place, one little bit at a time”.

Please encourage people to watch the video, read the official Blog at 365christmases.blogspot.com, to “Like” her on FaceBook and to “Follow” her on Twitter.
